Many people have been recently wondering what’s going on with PrivatePhone.com
Well after an email I received today it confirms that the service is shutting down for good.
Here is a copy of the email for those that are wondering what’s going on.

The voicemail is basically saying the same thing, that private phone is shutting down for good.
Looks like it’s time to look around for another free voicemail number service.
