For some simple tips for driving in heavy fog areas follow this advice:
1. Have your headlights on but not your high-beams since they will bounce back the light from the fog and make it worse
2. Keep at least 3 - 4 car spaces in front of you from the car ahead
3. Drive slower then you normally would when it’s raining
4. Give yourself enough time and leave early so you are not in such a rush to get there
